Sociocultural activities

Learn a little more about Peruvian culture, customs, and the city of Lima.

Every weekday, Hispana offers you the opportunity to participate in social and cultural activities specially organized for you to learn more about the Peruvian culture and lifestyle, our city, and of course, so that you have the opportunity to practice your Spanish. This program is included free of charge for students enrolled in Intensive and Super Intensive courses.

The teachers and the tourist coordinator of Hispana Spanish Language School are in charge of the program of activities.

MONDAY

Lectures on Present Day Latin America and Peru: If you are interested in learning more about the social and cultural realities of modern day Peru and Latin America, participate in these interesting talks and deepen your knowledge and understanding of current Latin American affairs.

TUESDAY

Phonetics Classes: A workshop to practice Spanish pronunciation, intonation and accent.

Homework Club: Come to the school in the afternoons and do your homework with your classmates. You will also have the opportunity to review points that remain unclear after class. A teacher will be available to answer questions about any subject.

WEDNESDAY

Movies in Spanish: Learn more about Latin American culture by watching movies filmed in Spanish speaking countries with English subtitles.

Karaoke: Sing in Spanish and have a good time with your classmates in a comfortable and fun environment.

THURSDAY

"Exploring Lima": This program includes free guided visits to the historic center of Lima, museums, archaeological sites, etc., allowing you to learn more about Lima's history and culture.

"Speaking with Spanish speakers": Practice what you learned in class in an informal atmosphere and make friends with Spanish speakers.

FRIDAY

Peruvian Cooking Classes: Learn to prepare the famous 'cebiche' or 'pisco sour' or other dishes representative of world renowned Peruvian cuisine.

Movies in Spanish: Learn more about Latin American culture by watching movies filmed in Spanish speaking countries with English subtitles.
