Two-week intensive Spanish course (20 hours/week, Mon to Fri, 9.00 am to 1.00 pm)

06 Surfing classes (09 hours of instruction, 3 times per week, 90 minutes per session) for beginners, intermediate or advanced levels.

You will learn:

+ Pre-surf stretching exercises, ocean awareness and surf theory.
+ How to paddle on your board, how to duck dive, how to turtle roll, how to stand up on a surfboard, how to effectively
position yourself on the board.
+ Technique development to improve your skills while surfing.
+ Beach and surf safety skills.

Course includes:

+ Spanish placement test, 40 hours tuition and study materials for the language course.
+ Surf classes and equipment, including:
- Long-sleeved wetsuit, surfboards and accessories provided.
- 90 minute instruction per class

MAKAHA BEACH (Miraflores) Ideal to learn how to surf before getting into more challenging waves. Makaha Beach is characterized by smaller waves and visited mostly by surfing beginners. However, further out one finds La Reventazón (The Blowout), which are bigger waves that offer much better conditions for all those fond of long-board surfing. This beach is about 20 minutes walk from Hispana Spanish school and our accommodation options.

About the surf coach

Alberto López has 22 years surfing experience and 6 years teaching new surfers. Alberto has years of experience surfing the local spots and will take you to the beach with the most suitable waves depending on the weather conditions and your skills.

| SURF TRIPS: |
Surf trips: We organize 1-day to 28-day trips to the best beaches on Peru in a 4x4. We also organize short trips to southern beaches around Lima (1 or 2 days) for 1 to six persons.
Surf Internships: If you are a surf instructor and want to volunteer in our school we will offer you board and accommodation and the opportunity to join our surf trips.
