LEVELS

BASIC (A1)

This level is specially designed so that in the shortest amount of time, the student will obtain sufficient competency to express immediate plans, talk about experiences in a basic way, describe surroundings and engage in different situations that require basic communication, with particular emphasis on oral communication.

PRE-INTERMEDIATE (A2)

This level allows the student to increasingly communicate with Spanish speakers. Emphasis is placed on oral communication so that the student gains confidence when speaking Spanish. The student is able to understand and give instructions, while logically developing his ideas, achieving fluent and coherent communication. Grammar is based on consolidating the use of the present and the past tenses.

INTERMEDIATE I (B1)

In this level, the student is able to tell a story, narrate his experiences in greater detail and listen to the experiences of others. The student shares his knowledge of other cultures and increasingly submerges himself in Latin American customs and traditions. He is capable of speaking about current events and proposes solutions to real and hypothetical problems. A variety of verb tenses are used, specifically the Past Simple and the Past Continuous, and the subjunctive tense is introduced.

INTERMEDIATE II (B2)

At this level, the student begins to communicate more fluently and spontaneously without thinking much about grammar rules, as he is increasingly able to master them. The main objective is to aid the students in attaining proficient conversation and writing skills, while developing an in-depth knowledge of Latin American culture. Emphasis is placed on using the subjunctive.

ADVANCED (C1)

The goal of this level is to obtain an almost native level of fluency. The student possesses the necessary resources to communicate in a wide variety of situations; he is able to watch TV programs, read newspapers and follow conversations with ease. Grammar is based on different tenses in the Subjunctive, Indicative and Imperative tenses. The student resolves grammar doubts, and, with the help of his teacher, tackles specific recurring problems in order to obtain proficiency in writing and in speaking.

SUPERIOR (C2)

The student speaks fluently and spontaneously. His vocabulary is at its best and he is able to distinguish between words with similar meanings depending on the type of conversation in which he engages.
